Russian strikes kill at least seven in Kyiv, Ukrainian officials say

Ukrainian officials said Russian strikes killed at least seven people and wounded more than 80 in Kyiv on Monday. The attacks hit apartment blocks, offices, petrol stations, data centres and cultural sites, according to Al Jazeera’s report.
A drone struck Kyiv’s National Academy of Sciences, killing a woman and injuring several people, the report said. Staff escaped down firefighters’ ladders as part of the building burned.
In Dnipro, a strike on an office centre reportedly killed three people. Attacks also wounded people in Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Odesa.
