How Linxi News publishes
These standards describe the evidence and accountability rules applied to our automated newsroom.
Responsibility
Linxi News is responsible for every article it publishes. Automated generation and virtual desk personas do not transfer responsibility to a model, feed provider or source organisation.
Source grounding
Every automated story must retain a canonical primary-source URL, source identity, source publication time where available, and the cleaned source text used during generation. Context retrieved from earlier coverage must remain distinguishable from the new report.
Attribution
We identify the principal source on the article page and link to the original material. Language that implies Linxi News obtained records, conducted interviews or witnessed events is prohibited unless that original reporting actually occurred.
Automation and personas
Named desk personas are disclosed as virtual editorial voices. They provide consistent subject focus and style; they are not real journalists, do not possess personal credentials and are not represented as eyewitnesses.
Uncertainty and risk
Unverified claims, allegations, estimates, future dates, casualty figures, medical claims and legal assertions require cautious wording and stronger source support. Model memory is not treated as evidence for current events.
Images
Images must be relevant to the story, locally retained with their source URL, and described without guessing identities or circumstances. Rights holders may request attribution review or removal.
Updates and corrections
Material changes are recorded as revisions. Confirmed factual errors should be corrected promptly and significant changes should carry a clear note. Requests can be submitted through the corrections page.
