Vikings reach 4-0 as Reichard scores all points in win over Dolphins
Minnesota beat Miami in Week 4, but its offence again failed to score, leaving kicker Will Reichard responsible for all the Vikings’ points.

The Minnesota Vikings defeated the Miami Dolphins in Week 4 to extend their unbeaten start to the season and move to 4-0. Kicker Will Reichard scored all of Minnesota’s points in a win that left the team’s offensive output under scrutiny.
Yahoo Sports reported that the Vikings’ offence was unable to score even after appearing to improve in the fourth quarter. The account said Minnesota had produced only one offensive touchdown since Week 2, while Reichard had scored 32 points over that span and the special teams unit had added six.
Justin Jefferson was unavailable for the Dolphins game, according to the report. The result keeps Minnesota’s record intact, but the recurring lack of offensive production has not yet been reflected in its win-loss record.
The Vikings are scheduled to face the New Orleans Saints next, before a bye week. A 4-0 record gives Minnesota a chance to reach 5-0 before the break.
