SportsLine model targets 25-1 payout in NFL Week 2 parlay

SportsLine has released its top-rated betting selections for the second week of the 2026 National Football League season, identifying a five-leg parlay with potential odds of nearly 25-1. The prediction is generated by a computer model that simulates every game on the 14-game Sunday schedule 10,000 times to determine likely outcomes.

The model, which holds a 53-39 record for top-rated picks dating back to 2024, is up well over $7,000 for $100 players on betting sites since its inception. Its primary selection for the week favours the Seattle Seahawks to cover the -3.5 point spread against the Arizona Cardinals.

In the model’s simulations, the Seahawks cover the spread in well over 60 per cent of scenarios. This aligns with historical data, as Seattle has won each of the last nine meetings against Arizona and covered the spread in eight of those contests. The Seahawks have also covered the spread in seven of their last 10 games.

The matchup comes with notable roster changes for Seattle, as Sam Darnold is ruled out due to a glute injury sustained in the season opener. Drew Lock is set to start in his place, having recorded 187 passing yards and one touchdown in the previous week’s 13-10 victory over the New England Patriots.

The Arizona Cardinals enter the game following a 26-14 upset win over the Los Angeles Chargers in head coach Mike LeFleur’s debut season. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett, who is 0-3 all-time against Seattle with an average margin of defeat of 17.7 points, will face a defence that has been more stingy in recent weeks.

Other notable matchups on the Week 2 schedule include the Minnesota Vikings versus the Chicago Bears, where Chicago are -4.5 favourites, and the Los Angeles Rams versus the New York Giants, with the Rams listed as -7 favourites.
