SportsLine has released its betting odds, point spreads, and predictions for the 16 games scheduled for Week 2 of the 2026 National Football League season. The prediction system utilises a computer model that simulates each matchup 10,000 times to determine likely outcomes and betting lines. According to the release, the San Francisco 49ers are the largest against-the-spread favourites in the round, listed at 13.5 points against the Miami Dolphins.
The model, which holds a 53-39 record for top-rated picks since 2024, also highlights the Kansas City Chiefs as 6.5-point favourites against the Indianapolis Colts. The over/under total for that Sunday Night Football matchup is set at 47.5 points. In another high-profile contest, the Buffalo Bills are favoured by 5.5 points over the Detroit Lions, with the total points line established at 53.5.
Several other significant spreads have been identified across the schedule. The Baltimore Ravens are listed as 8.5-point favourites against the New Orleans Saints, while the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are 8.5-point favourites over the Cleveland Browns. The Los Angeles Rams are seven-point favourites against the New York Giants, with an over/under of 48.5 points.
The Seattle Seahawks are projected to cover the spread against the Arizona Cardinals despite being without starting quarterback Sam Darnold, who suffered a soft-tissue injury in Week 1. The Seahawks are listed as 4.5-point favourites on the road, with the game total set at 41.5 points. Meanwhile, the Philadelphia Eagles are seven-point favourites against the Tennessee Titans, a matchup featuring the lowest total on the board at 39.5 points.
