Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold was ruled out of the season opener against the New England Patriots after suffering a hip injury on a sack during the opening drive.
Darnold was visibly hobbled as he left the field after being brought down by Patriots defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones. He was later assessed in the medical tent and taken to the locker room.
