Jamie Vardy joins Burnley on season-long contract
The former Leicester City and England striker has moved to Burnley after leaving Cremonese, joining a side winless in five Championship matches.
Jamie Vardy has joined Burnley on a season-long contract running until the end of the season, according to BBC Sport.
The 39-year-old former England and Leicester City striker left Italian club Cremonese in the summer before moving to Burnley.
His arrival comes as Burnley seek a change in form after five Championship matches without a win. The club were relegated from the Premier League last season.
Vardy spent 13 years at Leicester City after joining from non-league Fleetwood Town in 2012. He scored 200 goals in 500 appearances for the club in all competitions, including a club-record 145 Premier League goals.
He won 26 England caps and scored seven goals.
