FanDuel lists Gibbs at +650 for the award, ahead of Bijan Robinson and 2025 winner Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

Detroit Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs is the early favourite for the 2026 NFL Offensive Player of the Year award, according to FanDuel Sportsbook odds published on 9 September.

Gibbs is listed at +650, with Bijan Robinson second at +900. Ja’Marr Chase is priced at +1000 and Puka Nacua at +1300, while defending winner Jaxon Smith-Njigba is fifth at +1600.

Fox Sports reported that Gibbs recorded 1,223 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns in 2025. He also added 616 receiving yards and five receiving touchdowns.

Smith-Njigba won the 2025 award after leading the NFL in receiving yards, according to Fox Sports. Patrick Mahomes was the last quarterback to win the award, in 2018.
