Doom: The Dark Ages has been permanently discounted to $50, according to Engadget.

The price change affects the latest instalment in id Software’s Doom first-person shooter franchise. The source does not specify the currency or when the new price took effect.

id Software has also re-listed the Doom Anthology, which includes the Premium edition of The Dark Ages and the Revelations DLC.

The anthology is available for PlayStation 5, Steam and Xbox Series X/S. Existing owners of the previous bundle will not receive The Dark Ages automatically.

Engadget’s review praised the game’s Shield Saw, while the publication said fan response had also been broadly favourable.
