Mansfield Christian defeated Crestview 5–3 in a Mid-Buckeye Conference boys’ soccer match in Olivesburg, with sophomore Jacoby Dickinson scoring a hat-trick for the Flames.

Crestview opened the scoring through Braden Smith before Owen Neal equalised for Mansfield Christian. Dickinson then put the Flames ahead, but Smith’s second goal brought the teams level before half-time.

With the scores tied at 2–2, Dickinson scored from approximately 40 yards after a ricochet, giving Mansfield Christian a 3–2 lead with 23:35 remaining.

Anderson Hoovler extended the Flames’ advantage before Smith completed his own three-goal performance to bring Crestview within one. Dickinson sealed the result with a penalty kick with 1:06 left.

The Mansfield News Journal reported that Mansfield Christian coach Kaedon Anderson credited the team’s defensive work and Dickinson’s training and leadership. The report said Crestview coach Mike Pond viewed the match as evidence of growth for the Cougars, although the supplied account ends during his assessment.
