Deep Havana and Pilu lead Yarmouth feature as racing festival concludes
The Boodles Handicap headlines a seven-race card at Yarmouth, with meetings also scheduled at Southwell and Auteuil.
Yarmouth’s three-day festival concludes with the Boodles Handicap, where Deep Havana and Pilu are among 12 runners in the feature race.
Deep Havana carries a 5lb penalty after winning at Thirsk, his first success for trainer Hamad Al Jehani. The Wathnan-owned runner defeated Yes I’m Mali by a head.
Pilu returns after winning a Newmarket handicap following a drop in class. The Roger Teal-trained runner will be ridden by Joe Leavy.
Westport, Art Lover and So Darn Hot are also among the Yarmouth contenders. Art Lover was runner-up at Kempton, while So Darn Hot is 3lb below his last winning mark.
Southwell’s programme includes last-start winners Dojin and Level Look. Level Look, the only three-year-old in his handicap, won at Wolverhampton last week and is set to step up to two miles.
Auteuil stages the Group Three Prix Robert Lejeune and Prix de Compiegne. Sky Sports said seven races across the meetings were scheduled for live broadcast on Sky Sports Racing.
