Luis Díaz has identified finishing as the main deficiency in his game after what Yahoo Sports described as a difficult start to the 2026/27 season at Bayern Munich.

Speaking in an interview with Sky Germany, the Bayern winger said his effort and commitment would not diminish during periods of poor form or when he failed to score. He said he would continue giving everything for the team while working towards what he called the best version of himself.

Díaz said remaining mentally calm was important as he sought to improve, adding that he believed goals would come if he continued converting his chances. His comments were reported by Yahoo Sports, with wording also captured by the X account @iMiaSanMia.

Bayern have reportedly begun the season strongly, dropping points once while coach Vincent Kompany rotated his squad. Díaz’s off-the-ball work has remained reliable, according to the report, although observers have called for greater clinical finishing in decisive moments.
