CBS Sports names five NFL Week 2 betting picks
CBS Sports has recommended the Panthers, Buccaneers, Patriots, Jets and Eagles against the spread, alongside predictions for every other listed Week 2 matchup.
CBS Sports has published its NFL Week 2 betting preview, identifying five featured recommendations and picks for the remaining listed games. The odds cited in the preview are from DraftKings Sportsbook.
The featured selections are the Panthers at -2.5, Buccaneers at -8.5, Patriots at -5.5, Jets at +3.5 and Eagles at -7. CBS Sports supported the recommendations with Week 1 quarterback statistics, team records and recent against-the-spread results.
The preview projects New England to beat Pittsburgh 24–17 and Philadelphia to defeat Tennessee 27–17. It also projects Tampa Bay to beat Cleveland 30–13, Carolina to beat Atlanta 24–20 and Green Bay to beat the Jets 24–21.
CBS Sports’ additional picks are the Bengals, Bears, Ravens, Jaguars, Chargers, 49ers, Seahawks, Commanders, Chiefs and Rams. The selections cover matchups scheduled for Sunday and Monday.
Yahoo Sports separately reported that Steelers receiver Michael Pittman Jr. was ruled out of the Week 2 game against New England with a foot injury. The betting recommendations remain predictions rather than confirmed results, and gambling involves risk.
