CBS Sports names five NFL Week 2 anytime-touchdown bets
CBS Sports has recommended five players as potential anytime touchdown scorers, with the selections spanning five match-ups.
CBS Sports has identified Kaelon Black, Saquon Barkley, Hunter Henry, Antonio Williams and Baker Mayfield as anytime-touchdown betting options for NFL Week 2.
Black, a San Francisco 49ers rookie, is presented as a potential scorer against the Miami Dolphins after recording 14 carries for 65 yards and one reception for five yards in the season opener. The recommendation is based on the expectation that he will have a meaningful role alongside Christian McCaffrey.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Barkley is another selection for the game against the Tennessee Titans. CBS Sports points to Tennessee allowing two rushing touchdowns and 142 combined rushing yards to Breece Hall and Braelon Allen in Week 1.
New England Patriots tight end Henry is backed against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He scored both of New England’s touchdowns in last season’s meeting, while his team’s only touchdown in the season-opening loss to Seattle was caught by a tight end.
Washington Commanders rookie Williams is included after catching four passes for 64 yards and a touchdown on 26 offensive snaps in his NFL debut. Mayfield completes the list for Tampa Bay’s game against the Cleveland Browns after rushing five times for 30 yards and scoring a rushing touchdown in Week 1.
