Anthropic brings Claude chat, Cowork and Artifacts into one interface
The unified Claude interface automatically routes requests and adds tools for creating presentations and collaborative documents.
Anthropic is combining Claude chat, Cowork and Artifacts in a single interface, allowing users to access the services without switching between tabs or windows. The company says the change is intended to make it clearer where users should begin different tasks.
The interface automatically routes requests to the relevant Claude capability. Claude Design, introduced in April for website and prototype design, will also work throughout Claude.
Anthropic is adding dedicated tools for presentations and documents. Users can ask Claude to create, edit and present slides, then download presentations as PDF or PowerPoint files.
The Docs feature supports collaborative document creation, including drafting sections, asking questions and commenting on completed work. Documents and slides can be shared by link and edited on mobile, while users can monitor desktop document tasks through the mobile app.
The features are rolling out over the coming weeks to Pro and Max subscribers on the web, desktop and mobile, according to TechCrunch. Anthropic plans to extend availability to free and team plans later, though it has not specified a timetable.
The update follows an upgrade to Cowork’s memory layer designed to help Claude retain user context across chats.
