Chicago won the first two games of the best-of-five series. Game 3 is scheduled for 7 October, with further games conditional on the result.
The Chicago White Sox lead the Cleveland Guardians 2–0 in their American League Division Series after winning the opening games 3–0 and 4–3. The best-of-five series puts Chicago one win from advancing.
The Sporting News, in a schedule published by Yahoo Sports, lists Game 3 for 4 p.m. ET on Wednesday, 7 October, with TBS and DIRECTV as viewing options.
Game 4 is listed for 8 October at 5 p.m. ET, and Game 5 for 10 October at 5 p.m. ET. Both are scheduled only if necessary.
The teams entered the series as AL Central rivals. The supplied schedule coverage says Chicago held a 7–6 edge in their regular-season matchups, with a one-run differential across those games.
