The White House has launched a “Trump TV” stream featuring videos and highlights of what it describes as the Trump administration’s achievements.
The stream was launched on Monday evening, according to France 24 International, days after CNN, MS NOW and Politico were reportedly barred from the White House.
The White House accused the three media outlets of publishing false or misleading material. The outlets reportedly remained denied access and said they were suing to overturn the bans.
The launch has drawn considerable scepticism. Critics compared the stream with state propaganda networks associated with authoritarian governments, a characterisation not established as fact by the source material.
