The latest injury report for Week 2 of the National Football League has identified critical risks for Fantasy Football managers, primarily concerning wide receivers Nico Collins, Ladd McConkey, and Zay Flowers. According to CBS Sports, the data indicates a continued trend of wide receiver instability following Week 1, where the majority of reported injuries occurred at that position.

Nico Collins missed Thursday’s practice with a hamstring injury. While the team views the issue as non-serious and has sent him for medical evaluation, he is expected to miss the upcoming game. This development has prompted analysts to adjust rankings, moving Collins below DJ Moore and Jameson Williams. The report suggests that Xavier Hutchinson is a viable waiver wire option, while Dalton Schultz could see an increased role as a tight end against the Cincinnati Bengals, a team that allowed the most Fantasy points to that position last year.

Zay Flowers is listed as day-to-day with a hamstring injury, a concern given his Week 1 performance of five receptions for 150 yards and a touchdown before exiting in the second quarter. His status remains contingent on Friday’s practice; if he does not participate, he is considered difficult to trust for Sunday. Should Flowers sit out, Mark Andrews is projected to become a must-start tight end, supported by a high target share in the second half of the previous game.

Ladd McConkey’s status is in serious doubt due to a chest injury. In his absence during the fourth quarter of Week 1, Quentin Johnston and Tre Harris ran at least 90 per cent of the team’s routes. If McConkey misses Week 2, Johnston is viewed as a borderline WR2, while Tre Harris is considered a boom-or-bust WR3. Additionally, David Njoku would gain streamer appeal, and quarterback Justin Herbert would be downgraded to a borderline QB1.

Secondary impacts on the running back position are also evident. Aaron Jones is projected to see at least 15 touches against the Chicago Bears due to Mason’s one-month absence, making him a viable RB2. Conversely, Rhamondre Stevenson’s snap share is expected to drop significantly from last week’s 86 per cent as Rhamondre Henderson returns to full practice. Bijan Robinson is treated as a high-value asset due to Tua Tagovailoa missing practice again and Michael Penix still working his way back.

The report also notes that De’Von Swift and Isaiah Pacheco are expected to play despite ankle, knee, and hamstring issues respectively. Keon Coleman is expected to miss a favourable matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, which may provide additional room for Stefon Diggs and Terry McLaurin. For the Indianapolis Colts, Jonathan Taylor and Tyler Warren remain the primary starters against the Kansas City Chiefs, with Josh Downs and Keenan Allen offering limited upside if Pierce suffers a setback.
