Minnesota Vikings left guard Donovan Jackson is likely to miss the rest of the regular season after tearing a knee meniscus that requires surgery, coach Kevin O’Connell said on Monday.

Jackson was injured in the first quarter of the Vikings’ 15–10 win over Miami. O’Connell described the news as “very, very unfortunate” and said Jackson had made a strong start to the season.

The 2025 first-round pick from Ohio State was replaced by Joe Huber during the game. The Vikings were 4–0 at the time of the report.

Left tackle Christian Darrisaw’s availability for the upcoming game was also uncertain after he entered concussion protocol. The team’s injury outlook for both players remained unresolved in the report.
