Vasco beat Coritiba 5-0 to move clear of Brasileirão relegation zone
Goals from Colidio, Bruno Duarte, Lescano, Andrés Gómez and Ramon Rique lifted Vasco da Gama to 31 points, above Grêmio in the relegation battle.

Vasco da Gama defeated Coritiba 5-0 at Colina Histórica on Saturday to move out of the Brasileirão 2026 relegation zone.
Colidio opened the scoring before Bruno Duarte doubled Vasco’s advantage before half-time. Lescano, Andrés Gómez and Ramon Rique completed the scoreline after the break.
The result took Vasco to 31 points, according to Yahoo Sports, moving them above Grêmio in the relegation battle. Vasco also have a postponed match against Chapecoense that has yet to be scheduled.
Coritiba remained ninth on 38 points. Both sides are due to return after the international break.
Yahoo Sports described the match as part of the competition’s 28th matchday. Its report also said the result was Vasco’s best of the season and the largest scoreline in the history of the fixture.
