Ukraine-linked platform identifies nearly 3,000 African recruits in Russian forces
A database associated with Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence has tracked the deployment of African nationals to the front lines, revealing that approximately one in six identified recruits has been killed.
Russia has intensified its recruitment efforts targeting African nationals to serve on the front lines in Ukraine, according to data compiled by the Stop Russian Recruiters platform. The database, which is linked to Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence, has now identified nearly 3,000 recruits from the continent.
