Travis Kelce has moved to second on the NFL’s all-time receiving-yardage leaderboard for tight ends after helping the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Denver Broncos in Week 1.
Kelce recorded three catches for 71 yards in the Monday Night Football game, exceeding the 45 receiving yards he needed to pass former Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten.
The milestone came in Kelce’s 14th season with Kansas City. He now trails former Chiefs tight end Tony Gonzalez, who remains the reported leader among NFL tight ends for receiving yardage.
