Long-range strikes by Russia and Ukraine left at least five people dead, according to reports cited by Al Jazeera. The casualty toll may be incomplete, and reports from occupied areas and Russia were not independently verified in the source material.

The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority said a Russian attack on a Liberian-flagged ship in the Odesa region killed one person and injured three. Twelve other crew members were evacuated.

In Kyiv, a Russian strike on the Northern Bridge injured two people. The report said it was the second bridge in the capital attacked by Russia in two days.

A Moscow-installed governor reported two people killed in a Ukrainian strike on occupied Luhansk. Russian-installed authorities said a Ukrainian drone attack in occupied Zaporizhia killed one person and injured 10. Russian media reported one death in a Ukrainian drone attack on the Belgorod region.
