SportsLine model backs Giants and Seahawks against Week 4 spreads
CBS Sports says its model favours New York to cover against Arizona and Seattle to cover against Los Angeles after simulating each Week 4 game 10,000 times.
SportsLine’s model has picked the Giants and Seahawks to cover their Week 4 NFL spreads, according to a CBS Sports report. The model simulated every game on the schedule 10,000 times; its recommendations are predictions, not results.
New York is listed at +1 against the Cardinals. The model favours the Giants to win outright and cover in almost 60 per cent of simulations, which CBS Sports describes as an A-rated pick.
The report points to Arizona allowing at least 31 points in each of its past two losses and its 5–9 record against the spread after a loss since the start of last year. It also cites New York’s league-leading time of possession on offence and starting field position on defence.
The model also backs Seattle at -6.5 against the Chargers, projecting the Seahawks to cover in more than 60 per cent of simulations. CBS Sports notes Los Angeles has lost six straight, scoring 17 points or fewer in each, while Seattle returns home after its 12-game winning streak ended.
CBS Sports says SportsLine has picks for every Week 4 game, but the full list is available through SportsLine. The report also claims the model’s top-rated picks have gone 54–43 since 2024 and returned more than $7,000 for hypothetical $100 players; those figures are publisher claims.
