Fantasy football

CBS Sports has published Dave Richard’s Week 5 fantasy football trade chart and rest-of-season rankings for the 2026 season, placing Jaxon Smith-Njigba at the top of its wide receiver list.

The chart assigns values to players so fantasy managers can compare potential deals. CBS Sports says those values reflect expected future performance, upcoming schedules and public sentiment; past performance is not a major factor.

The chart is also intended to work as rest-of-season rankings. CBS Sports provides versions for different league formats, including leagues with four points per passing touchdown and half-PPR scoring.

Managers are advised to account for roster size when weighing a deal: the chart recommends deducting 10 per cent of the value when one side receives two or more players than the other.

The supplied material does not give Smith-Njigba’s assigned value or the full player rankings. His No. 1 position is CBS Sports’ assessment for fantasy trade purposes.
