Aryna Sabalenka recovered from a deciding-set deficit to defeat sixth seed Linda Noskova and reach a sixth successive US Open semi-final.

Defending champion Aryna Sabalenka has reached the US Open semi-finals after overcoming sixth seed Linda Noskova in a deciding-set tie-break.
Sabalenka won 7-6 (7-1), 3-6, 7-6 (10-7), recovering from 4-2 down in the third set before overturning a 2-0 deficit in the tie-break.
The victory extended Sabalenka’s US Open winning streak to 19 matches, dating back to the 2023 final. It also keeps alive her bid to reach a fourth consecutive final.
The four-time Grand Slam singles champion will face either third seed Jessica Pegula or 26th seed Emma Navarro in the semi-finals.
Sabalenka temporarily retained the world number one ranking. She will lose the position if Elena Rybakina defeats Zheng Qinwen in their quarter-final.
Noskova’s defeat ended an 11-match winning run in Grand Slam singles. Sabalenka remains unbeaten in six US Open quarter-finals.
