Roma reportedly turns down Guerreiro and Sancho as January plans take shape

Roma is reportedly set to avoid the free-agent market and wait until the January transfer window before strengthening its squad, particularly in the wide attacking positions.

According to Yahoo Sports, citing Fabrizio Romano, Raphaël Guerreiro was offered to Roma after leaving Bayern Munich. His profile reportedly failed to fully convince the club, and no formal negotiation developed.

Jadon Sancho was also reportedly considered by Roma management. The English forward was close to joining the club a year ago, but Roma has reportedly decided not to pursue the option this time.

Reports cited concerns about Sancho’s fitness and the time required to return him to a competitive level. Roma is instead expected to select reinforcements carefully rather than make an immediate free-agent signing.
