Real Madrid have agreed personal terms with RB Leipzig winger Yan Diomande, confirming the 19-year-old’s imminent move to the Spanish capital. The agreement follows the withdrawal of interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool, ending a protracted transfer battle for the attacking talent.
The Ivory Coast international emerged as a standout performer on the global stage during the FIFA World Cup 2026, where he made his debut and helped his nation reach the round of 32. His club form has been equally compelling; Diomande scored 12 league goals and provided eight assists during the 2025-26 Bundesliga season, contributing significantly to Leipzig’s third-place finish and subsequent UEFA Champions League berth.
