Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring Michael Olise’s position at Bayern Munich ahead of next summer’s transfer window, according to a report attributed to Defensa Central and cited by Yahoo Sports.

Real Madrid president Florentino Perez and sporting director Jose Angel Sanchez are said to be watching developments around the France international after Bayern chief executive Jan-Christian Dreesen declined to guarantee his long-term future.

Dreesen said Bayern value Olise and dismissed reports that the club had received numerous offers for the winger during the summer. He also said discussions about whether Bayern could retain him permanently would resume next summer.

The comments do not establish that Bayern are preparing to sell Olise. The club had previously indicated that the player was not available for transfer, a position that ended reported Real Madrid interest during the summer.

No Real Madrid offer, agreement or sale has been confirmed, and the timing and likelihood of any potential bid remain unknown. The monitoring claim has also not been independently confirmed.
