The Daily Herald is asking readers to vote for its TSSAA football Athlete of the Week from Week 3 of Tennessee’s high school season.

The nominees are Hason Baugh and Daniel Booker of Columbia Central; Zakyus Everly of Lawrence County; JP Easterling of Mt. Pleasant; Jonah Gipson and Kasen White of Spring Hill; and Max Dillard of Summertown.

The Daily Herald reported that Baugh rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown in Columbia Central’s 48–7 win over Independence. Booker recorded three rushing touchdowns and completed seven of 11 passes for 84 yards.

Everly had 134 all-purpose yards and a rushing touchdown for Lawrence County, while Easterling recorded 101 receiving yards, a touchdown reception and a rushing score.

Gipson accounted for six touchdowns in Spring Hill’s 57–0 win over Glencliff, combining three touchdown passes with three rushing touchdowns. White ran for 110 yards and caught a touchdown pass.

Dillard rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown and completed two of four passes in Summertown’s 21–12 win over Cascade. The reader poll is scheduled to close at noon on Friday; the source does not report current voting figures or a winner.
