Razer cuts price of Clio wireless speaker cushion with new Clio X
Razer’s Clio X costs US$110 and adds wireless audio to compatible gaming chairs, but requires a separate USB-C power source.
Razer has unveiled the Clio X, a lower-priced head cushion with an integrated wireless speaker for computer chairs, at PAX West 2026. The product is priced at US$110, less than half the US$230 launch price of the original Clio introduced the previous year.
The Clio X attaches to compatible Razer gaming chairs using an adjustable nylon strap. It requires a separate 15W USB-C power source, such as a power bank, and does not include a battery or charger.
Audio hardware includes two 38mm loudspeakers and two 55mm passive radiators. Razer says the design delivers immersive audio in a more compact form than the original Clio, which uses 43mm full-range aluminium cone drivers.
The cushion supports Razer’s THX Spatial Audio and HyperSpeed 2.4GHz wireless connectivity. Razer says THX Spatial Audio converts standard stereo into 360-degree audio, while HyperSpeed is designed to provide a low-latency connection for gaming.
The Clio X can also connect to a soundbar. Razer recommends a PD2.0 power source and a power bank with at least 10,000mAh capacity; using a non-PD source will limit power draw and maximum volume. Battery life depends on the connected power bank.
Razer says the Clio X is available through its website and retail stores. The company has not specified Australian pricing or whether the US$110 price includes local taxes.
