Paris Saint-Germain have placed a valuation of €170m on forward Bradley Barcola, citing his status as a back-to-back Champions League winner and his performance at the World Cup as key drivers of his market value. The club is reportedly using the recent transfers of Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson as comparative benchmarks for this assessment. Barcola, aged 23, has attracted interest from multiple clubs following PSG’s retention of the European title.

The Champions League victory, secured by defeating Arsenal 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in Budapest, was followed by significant civil unrest. French authorities reported more than 280 arrests in Paris and 416 detentions nationwide, with Interior Minister Laurent Nunez describing the violence as unacceptable. Despite the disturbances, the sporting achievement has bolstered the club’s confidence in retaining its star players.

In transfer developments, Inter Milan director Mauro Ausilio confirmed the club’s interest in Tottenham Hotspur defender Cristian Romero. Ausilio stated that discussions have taken place with both the player’s agent and the London club, describing the situation as an exclusive story reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano. “We are interested for sure, it’s true. We spoke to the agent and Tottenham. We will see what happens,” Ausilio said, leaving the timeline for any potential agreement open.

In the entertainment sector, Christopher Nolan’s film The Odyssey has earned $87m in its second domestic weekend, representing a 29% drop from its opening weekend haul. This performance marks the smallest second-weekend drop ever recorded for a film with a $100m+ opening weekend. The figures also represent the biggest second weekend for any Christopher Nolan film to date.

The film’s box office resilience has exceeded the opening weekend total of Nolan’s previous blockbuster, Oppenheimer. Industry analysts note that the sustained audience interest defies typical trends for high-budget openings, positioning The Odyssey as a significant commercial success in the current market.
