Prediction markets price Packers' 2026 playoff odds at 52%
Polymarket data suggests the Green Bay Packers are slight favourites to reach the postseason, but long shots for a Super Bowl title, as linebacker Micah Parsons targets a mid-season return.
Prediction market Polymarket has assigned the Green Bay Packers a 52 per cent probability of securing a spot in the 2026 NFL playoffs. This valuation places the team 15th among all 32 franchises, reflecting a cautious outlook following a 2025 campaign that concluded with a 9-7-1 record and a loss to the Chicago Bears in the NFC Wild Card Playoffs.
The market views the Packers as underdogs in their own division, pricing their chances of winning the NFC North at 28 per cent. The Detroit Lions, who claimed the division title in 2024, currently lead the field with a 36 per cent probability. The NFC North remains a highly competitive conference, with all four teams having qualified for the postseason within the last two seasons.
Despite their recent divisional struggles, the Packers have maintained a strong presence in the playoffs, appearing in six of the last seven seasons. Under head coach Matt LaFleur, who is entering his seventh season with a 76-40-1 record, Green Bay has won 17 division titles, though none since 2021. Quarterback Jordan Love is set to begin his fourth season as a starter, having succeeded Aaron Rodgers in 2023.
A significant variable for the 2026 season is the return of All-Pro linebacker Micah Parsons. Acquired from the Dallas Cowboys last season, Parsons is recovering from a torn ACL and meniscus damage sustained in December.
