Texas quarterback Arch Manning has described as “hilarious” a fabricated AI video depicting coach Steve Sarkisian slapping ESPN reporter Holly Rowe.

Manning made the comment on Monday, according to Yahoo Sports, after being asked about social-media edits following Texas’ 24–23 comeback win over Ohio State.

The manipulated footage appears to have altered video of Sarkisian’s post-game interview with Rowe. The supplied material does not establish who created the clip or how widely it circulated.

The video followed an awkward live exchange after Texas recovered from a 23–3 deficit. Sarkisian celebrated the win before walking away without answering Rowe’s question.

Manning completed 23 of 37 passes for 195 yards, one touchdown and one interception in the victory, which moved Texas to No. 1 in the country, according to the source.

The footage was fabricated and does not establish that Sarkisian struck Rowe. The supplied material does not include later responses from Manning, Sarkisian, Rowe or Texas.
