Paramount+ has officially announced that the new animated series Avatar: Seven Havens will premiere on October 9. The studio also released a trailer offering the first detailed look at the show’s setting, a post-apocalyptic world that takes place after the events of The Legend of Korra. The announcement marks a significant milestone for the franchise, which continues to expand across multiple platforms and formats.

The series centres on Pavi, a young Earthbender who is revealed to be the new Avatar. The narrative follows her attempt to reunite fractured colonies while concealing her true identity. The trailer depicts a dark tone, showing a world where the Four Nations have been destroyed by an apocalyptic calamity. Complicating matters for the new Avatar, the surviving populace blames Korra for the destruction, creating a hostile environment for Pavi.

There are also hints regarding Pavi’s personal history, with the trailer revealing she has a twin sister.
