One Palestinian killed in West Bank incidents, officials say
Palestinian officials reported one death and two serious injuries near Bani Naim; separate incidents near Ramallah and Jenin also left people injured.

Israeli forces killed a Palestinian and seriously injured two others near Bani Naim, east of Hebron, on Monday, Palestinian officials said. The Israeli military said the vehicle had accelerated towards and struck a military vehicle before troops opened fire. That account has not been independently verified in the supplied reporting.
The Palestinian General Authority of Civil Affairs identified the man killed as 38-year-old Hossam Alaa al-Din Abdul Jabbar Walad Ali and said Israeli forces withheld his body.
Near Ramallah, the Israeli military said an Israeli civilian “neutralised” one of two Palestinians after a report of a vehicle fire and a person carrying a knife. The military did not define the term. Palestinian authorities said Ahmad Mazen Kahla was critically injured by Israeli gunfire; the reporting does not establish whether the accounts refer to the same person.
The Palestinian Red Crescent said three people injured in a settler attack in the Imriha area, southwest of Jenin, were taken to hospital. Anadolu news agency, citing sources, reported that the injuries included a broken leg, a hand injury and an elderly man beaten and pepper-sprayed.
The Palestinian Colonisation and Wall Resistance Commission said 66 Palestinians had been killed in at least 14,742 attacks in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, since October 2023. It also reported damage to 147,111 trees. The figures are the commission’s.
