Ole Miss rises to No. 6 as LSU drops in Week 4 Coaches Poll
Texas retained No. 1 while Florida returned to the AFCA Coaches Poll at No. 22 after moving to 3–0.
Ole Miss climbed three places to No. 6 in the Week 4 AFCA Coaches Poll after defeating LSU 32–24, while the Tigers fell from No. 7 to No. 11.
The result gave Ole Miss two of the poll’s highlighted wins, against Louisville and LSU. The Rebels remained outside the top five, which was unchanged.
Texas retained No. 1 after beating UTSA 30–6. Georgia stayed second, followed by Notre Dame, Indiana and Miami.
Florida returned to the poll at No. 22 after beating Auburn 44–39 to improve to 3–0. Texas A&M fell from No. 8 to No. 20 after losing to Kentucky.
Louisville also re-entered at No. 19 after defeating SMU 41–31. SMU dropped from No. 16 to No. 25.
The rankings were released by the AFCA Coaches Poll, which is separate from the AP Top 25.
