Northern Ireland remain top of UEFA Nations League Group B2 after a 0-0 draw with Georgia at Windsor Park. The result leaves them one point ahead of Hungary.

Georgia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili saved Isaac Price’s penalty in the 84th minute, denying Northern Ireland a late chance to win. The spot-kick followed a foul on Ruairi McConville during a goalmouth scramble.

Northern Ireland created chances through Jamie Donley and Josh Magennis, but Mamardashvili kept both out. Pierce Charles made important saves from Zuriko Davitashvili and Giorgi Tsitaishvili at the other end.

The result extended Northern Ireland’s run to four consecutive competitive clean sheets. The teams met in Tbilisi 11 days earlier, when Northern Ireland won 1-0.
