No. 15 BYU will face Arizona on Saturday in a College Football Week 2 matchup broadcast on FOX, renewing a series that dates back to 1936.

The teams are preparing to meet for the 28th time. BYU won last season’s contest 33–27 in double overtime and, according to FOX Sports, has won the past five meetings.

BYU enters the matchup having returned 13 starters, including quarterback Bear Bachmeier and running back LJ Martin. FOX Sports reports that backup running back Sione Moa has been ruled out for the season.

Arizona quarterback Noah Fifita has made 22 career starts and is yet to beat BYU. FOX Sports notes that he has thrown four interceptions and three touchdowns across his two previous matchups against the Cougars.

FOX Sports predicts that BYU will win the game outright, while Arizona will cover the spread. The prediction is an assessment ahead of the match, not a confirmed result.
