NFL suspends two officials over separate player incidents
Jeff Seeman received a two-game suspension and Adrian Hill a one-game ban after separate incidents during NFL games.

The NFL has suspended two officials for conduct towards players, with line judge Jeff Seeman banned for two games and referee Adrian Hill for one. NFL vice-president of officiating Ramon George issued the suspensions, according to ESPN.
Video from Arizona’s 36–24 loss to the New York Giants appeared to show Seeman swearing at Cardinals tight end Trey McBride. McBride had complained after an incomplete pass, believing Giants cornerback Dru Phillips interfered with him.
Hill’s suspension concerns a separate incident during Minnesota’s 15–10 win over Miami. Vikings linebacker Eric Wilson was pushed into Hill after a play was whistled dead, knocking the referee down.
Wilson said he apologised and that Hill understood what had happened. Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell described the episode as a fast-moving moment and praised Hill’s work as an official.
NFL Players Association executive director JC Tretter said officials should be held to the same standard as players, who are consistently held accountable when roles are reversed. The two suspensions relate to distinct incidents.
