NFL Week 2

NFL Week 2 betting markets are showing strong public interest in another high-scoring round after 15 teams scored at least 27 points in the opening week. Chicago led the scoring with 59 points against Carolina.

Caesars Sports reported one-way action towards the Buffalo Bills and the Over in their home opener against the Detroit Lions. Buffalo opened as a three-point favourite before the line moved to 4.5 points, while the total rose from 53.5 to 54.5.

The reported interest follows Buffalo’s 36–31 win over Houston, in which the Bills covered as 1.5-point favourites. Detroit defeated New Orleans 31–30 in overtime but failed to cover as a seven-point favourite.

Caesars said Buffalo’s home opener at its new stadium and the team’s performance against one of the NFL’s top defences were contributing to the betting support. The market snapshot reflects reported activity and may have changed.

The Dallas–Washington market also shifted during the week. Dallas moved from -4.5 to -3.5 after losing to the New York Giants 28–20, then returned to -4.5 amid reported bettor support. Washington lost to Philadelphia 24–22 but covered.

Professional bettor Randy McKay was also reported to have backed Denver -2.5 against Jacksonville after taking San Francisco +4 against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 1. The supplied material does not provide further confirmed details on the Denver market.
