At least three people were killed when an NBC-associated helicopter crashed in Los Angeles, according to a report from Al Jazeera Global News.

Retrieved reports placed the crash in or near Chatsworth, where the helicopter had been covering a separate collision involving an SUV and a bus. The two incidents were described as separate, and the three deaths reported in the bus collision are not included in the helicopter-crash toll.

Two people were reportedly taken to hospital after the crash. One of those killed may have been on the ground, while the identities of people aboard the helicopter had not initially been confirmed.

The cause of the crash was also not initially reported as confirmed. The number of fatalities, injuries and people aboard may change as authorities investigate.
