Four MLB on FOX analysts divided their World Series predictions evenly between the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Yankees, according to Fox Sports. The picks are forecasts, not results, and the source does not specify which season they concern.

Dontrelle Willis tipped the Dodgers to beat the Tampa Bay Rays, pointing to Los Angeles’ rotation, timely hitting and experience.

Derek Jeter picked the Yankees over the San Diego Padres, while Alex Rodriguez backed New York in a predicted rematch with the Dodgers. Rodriguez cited the teams’ pitching staffs and said he was choosing pitching and defence.

David Ortiz also forecast a Dodgers-Yankees matchup, picking Los Angeles to claim a third consecutive title. He acknowledged New York’s pitching but said he still favoured the Dodgers.

The split leaves two analysts backing each franchise, with three different opponents named across their predictions.
