Yahoo Sports reported that members of the UFC’s media rankings panel received an email stating Page had been “removed from rankings eligibility effective immediately”. The reason for the change was not stated.
The victory reportedly took Page’s UFC record to 5-1 and came in the final fight of his current contract. However, the available information does not confirm that Page has left the promotion or that the Paris bout was his final UFC appearance.
Page, a former Bellator fighter, has a reported professional record of 26-3 across nearly 15 years. He has said he wants to remain with the UFC and believes he has more to give and prove.
The report also says Page received no Performance of the Night bonuses and recorded no finishes across six UFC bouts, all of which went the distance. His age and contract position now leave his next move unresolved.
