Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler said his side deserved to win after taking control as the match progressed. United have won twice and lost three times this season, according to the report.
There was one notable individual highlight for United: Shea Lacey scored on his first senior start, becoming the first teenager to score on his first United start since Marcus Rashford in 2016. United’s next match is away to Fulham before the international break.
