LSU will host Clemson at Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET in a 2026 college football Week 1 matchup.

The game marks Lane Kiffin’s debut as LSU head coach. LSU is ranked 11th and listed as a 10-point favourite, with the points total set at 50.5.

Both teams finished 7–6 overall in 2025. Clemson went 4–4 in the ACC, while LSU finished 10th in the SEC.

LSU leads the all-time series 4–1 and won the previous meeting 17–10. Clemson will also be breaking in a new quarterback, according to CBS Sports’ account of the matchup.

SportsLine expert Eric Cohen has selected the under at 50.5 points, citing the Baton Rouge night-game atmosphere and the possibility that both offences may be unsettled early in the season. His selection is an attributed betting opinion, not a guaranteed result.
