Manchester City have maintained their perfect Premier League start after a 1–0 victory over Manchester United, securing a fourth consecutive win.

The result leaves City alongside reigning champions Arsenal as the only teams to have won all four of their opening matches, according to a CBS Sports power ranking published after the fourth round.

The ranking also highlighted Brighton and Hove Albion’s strong beginning to the campaign and Hull City’s unexpected position near the top of the table. Hull sit third with 10 points from 12.

Manchester United have one win from four matches, while several other clubs remain winless. Coventry City have yet to score or collect a point, and Tottenham Hotspur are also without a goal after four matches.

CBS Sports described the early-season rankings as provisional, noting that four rounds may be insufficient for lasting judgements. Its assessment also identified sluggish starts for Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, while Bournemouth and Fulham were among the other winless teams.
