Losene Keita follows UFC Paris knockout with ringside celebration and Lerone Murphy callout
Keita stopped Muhammad Naimov with a one-punch finish before climbing from the Octagon to applaud himself in an empty ringside chair.
Losene Keita marked his second UFC appearance with a one-punch knockout of Muhammad Naimov on the main card at UFC Fight Night Paris, according to CBS Sports.
Keita rocked Naimov early, dropped him with a jab and completed the finish moments later with a single punch. He then climbed over the Octagon wall, took a seat at ringside and applauded his own performance.
The victory followed a split-decision loss in Keita’s UFC debut, which he described as a “warm-up”. He used his post-fight remarks to call out featherweight contender Lerone Murphy in two languages.
CBS Sports described Murphy as the No. 3-ranked featherweight contender. Keita said Murphy had claimed he would never win a UFC fight and promised to silence him, but no bout agreement was confirmed.
Dan Hooker and Salahdine Parnasse were scheduled to headline the event, with Parnasse making his UFC debut on home soil.
