Liverpool have confirmed that academy midfielder Haydn Murray-Holmes has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Murray-Holmes is a regular for Liverpool’s Under-18 side and is seeking to progress into the Under-21s during the current campaign. The available report does not provide the contract’s length or financial terms.

The local academy player made his UEFA Youth League debut last season, according to the report published by Yahoo Sports. He is also aiming to continue in the competition as he develops within Liverpool’s youth system.

Progression to the Under-21s remains an ambition rather than a confirmed promotion. The agreement secures Murray-Holmes’ position at the club as Liverpool continues to retain young players within its academy structure.
