Kane’s 146-goal tally establishes clear lead in European scoring rankings
Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has recorded 146 goals in 147 appearances since 2023, outpacing Kylian Mbappé and Erling Haaland in Europe’s top five leagues.

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has emerged as the leading goalscorer in Europe’s top five leagues since 2023, according to data provided by Transfermarkt. The England international has recorded 146 goals in 147 appearances across all competitions since joining the club from Tottenham in 2023. This statistical lead places him ahead of other elite forwards on the continent.
The margin separating Kane from the rest of the top scorers is significant. Kylian Mbappé, who played for Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid during this period, ranks second with 130 goals in 151 games. Erling Haaland of Manchester City follows in third place with 108 goals in 143 appearances. Kane’s advantage over Mbappé is particularly notable, as he has scored 16 more goals despite playing four fewer matches.
Kane’s scoring rate has remained consistent, averaging almost exactly one goal per appearance. Serhou Guirassy, who moved from VfB Stuttgart to Borussia Dortmund, ranks fourth with 90 goals in 126 games. Robert Lewandowski, who now plays for Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer, sits in fifth place with 87 goals in 147 appearances.
The 2025/26 season further solidified Kane’s position as a premier European striker. He finished the campaign with 61 goals in all competitions, securing his third consecutive Bundesliga scoring title with 36 league goals. His performance included a hat trick in the DFB-Pokal final against VfB Stuttgart, which contributed to Bayern’s first cup victory since the 2019/20 season.
Kane also scored 10 goals in the DFB-Pokal during the 2025/26 season. The data indicates that no other player from Europe’s top five leagues has matched his output over the three-year span.
Other players in the top 10 scorers list include Lautaro Martínez, Mohamed Salah, Alexander Sørloth, Vinícius Junior and Julián Álvarez. The statistics highlight Kane’s sustained productivity since his transfer to Munich.
